Stephen Curry is an American basketball player born in 1988 in Ohio who belongs to the Golden State Warriors NBA team. With 1.88 meters tall, he plays at the point guard position. He has been three times NBA champion and twice regular season MVP. He is considered one of the best three-point shooters of all time, having made the most three-pointers in the NBA, and many sports analysts consider him the best shooter in history, 2,977 three-pointers (and counting). He is the son of former NBA player Dell Curry and older brother of NBA point guard Seth Curry.

UNIVERSITY

He played for three seasons for the Davidson College Wildcats, where he averaged 25.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. It didn't take him long to show his qualities, as in his second official game against Michigan Wolverines he scored 32 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. He finished the season leading the Southern Conference in scoring, with 21.5 points per game,6 being the second best freshman scorer in the country behind Texas player Kevin Durant, who would end up being selected in the second position of the 2007 draft.

In his second season he again led his conference in scoring, averaging 25.9 points per game, to which he added 4.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.0 steals. He ended up being selected in the second five of the All-American team, in addition to being a finalist for the John R. Wooden Award. He also broke the record for most three-pointers made by an NCAA player in a season with 162.6.

In his senior year, he led NCAA Division I in scoring with 28.6 points per game. He set his career scoring high against Oklahoma, scoring 44 points. He was named a first-team All-American.
